"I love autumn. Crisp golden leaves falling from the trees is the most beautiful of nature’s performances. However, this month nature is not the only one to be stripping back. When I arrived at the Givey office earlier this week, I noticed some unusually youthful faces smiling up at me. Perhaps it was the sheepish grins that initially suggested something was up, but what ultimately gave it away was the smooth contours of their shiny chins and I was quickly reminded it was the first of Movember. Yes, an entire month commandeered to raise funds and awareness of men’s health through genuine silliness and the celebration of what makes men, men! However it’s not just the boys that can have all the fun. BattleMo.com is a new site where anyone can be the judge of the best bit of facial fluff! It’s simple: you are presented with two moustaches and you pick the one you like best. It’s boyish competition with a sense of camaraderie, because it’s supposed to be ridiculous! The sillier the better! As with the boys in my office, at this early stage in the month there is a definite lack of tache to chose from but I can’t wait to return in a few days time when facial hair growth is literally separating the men from the boys!"
